Yves Saint Laurent brought pants to the female wardrobe, made pea coats and safari style mainstream. He brought Paris street style to couture. He has influenced generations with his style, saved Dior from ruin at the age of 21 and created his own fashion house by the time he was 30. If you want to read more about Yves Saint Laurent I recommend checking out "The Beautiful Fall." I bought the book recently and reading it now seems very appropriate. Yves Saint Laurent ones said "Fashion dies, but style remains." Sir your Style will remain an imprint on womens lives for eternity.
